Join us for artful online experiences! We are offering virtual options for young learners to enjoy from the comfort of their own home or classroom. Let’s look at art, listen to stories, and get messy with simple and fun art projects.

Art Look & Book

Zoom with us! Enjoy a kid-friendly look at a piece of art in our galleries followed by a story. Register at least one day in advance to receive your Zoom link via email.

Learn about the fun of the rodeo and listen to story about an armadillo who gives the rodeo a try.

Uncle Andy’s, by James Warhola
Explore the colors and techniques artists use and learn about playful pop art. Listen to a story about a young boy who gets inspired by his uncle’s colorful art.

Mini Maker Space

Join us on Zoom for a simple and creative art project led by a museum educator. Gather your materials and register at least one day in advance to receive your Zoom link via email. Program time: 15-20 min.

Paper Sculptures
Create a colorful sculpture inspired by the movements of a rodeo rider. Explore various bending and folding techniques to build a unique paper creation.
Materials needed: Construction paper, glue stick, scissors, markers.

Shaving Cream Prints
Get messy while printing with shaving cream! This unique printing form uses watercolor paint and shaving cream to create a tie dye look on paper.
Materials needed: Shaving foam, shallow baking dish, watercolor paint, stir stick (such as the bottom of a paintbrush), card stock paper, a small piece of cardboard.
