Tour

Explore the James Museum collection with one of our knowledgeable docents. Groups will enjoy a 45-minute overview of the museum, focusing on select works of art from each of our seven galleries.

Group Admissions

Groups of 10 or more are eligible for discounted admission:

Adults: $15
Seniors (65+): $10
College students: $8 (current ID required)

Capacity

For the health and safety of our guests, volunteers, and staff, our group capacity is temporarily limited. We can accommodate groups of up to 30 people at one time. Guests will be divided into small groups of no more than 5 people per docent to allow for social distancing.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

In accordance with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control as well as local and state government recommendations, we have made changes to many of our daily operations. While exposure to COVID-19 is an inherent risk in any public location where people are present and we cannot guarantee you will not be exposed during your visit, we are taking many precautions designed to protect the health of our visitors, staff and volunteers. Below is a list of our group tour requirements. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us work to keep you and our community safe.

All visitors, volunteers, and staff members are required to wear face coverings while inside the museum.

When entering the museum, temperatures will be screened using a touch-free device. Visitors with a fever of 100.4 degrees or more will be asked to return when they are well.

Every visitor will be asked to read and agree to our terms and conditions. Children under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian agree to the terms and conditions on their behalf. Please print and distribute the form (linked below) to all group members prior to your visit. A copy of this form will be sent in your confirmation email. DEPOSIT & FINAL BALANCE​

A $50 deposit is required to secure your reservation and is due within 2 business days after your visit date has been confirmed via email. Your deposit is payment towards the total admission cost for your group. Credit card payments and checks are accepted.

The balance of your admission is due on the day of your visit. Be sure to have an accurate headcount when you make your final payment, as tickets are nonrefundable.

CANCELLATIONS​

Your deposit is fully refundable if you cancel no less than 2 business days prior to your tour date. You may also reschedule your visit based on museum availability.

PARKING​

Parking for personal vehicles is available in the South Core Parking Garage located at 101 1st Ave S, St. Petersburg, FL 33701. The height limit of the parking garage is 6’10”. The first hour is free and $1/per each additional hour. Special event rates vary and may apply.

Buses and large vans may pull up to the museum’s entrance at 150 Central Avenue to allow passengers to disembark.

Buses and vans that exceed the parking garage height limit may reserve street parking near the museum. Reservations must be made at least 3 business days in advance. Parking spaces are approximately 8’ x 22’ and cost $10 each. The parking fee will be added to your balance due and is payable along with your final admission. Parking fees are nonrefundable.
