Get out of the house and into our studio this summer! Led by a museum educator, children and caregivers will print, paint, weave, and sculpt masterpieces using a variety of art materials. Workshops are limited to eight people per session to allow for social distancing. Ages 3-12 with an adult. Space is limited; reservations required.
Workshop fee: $5 per person (museum admission is not included)
Please note: Every visitor will be asked to read and agree to terms and conditions. We recommend that children under 18 have a parent or legal guardian agree to the terms and conditions for them. If an adult other than a parent or legal guardian is accompanying the child, the document can be printed and signed in advance.
Read and print the terms and conditions here.
Exploring Elements of Art
Look, imagine, and create! Explore the museum at your own pace with a Family Activity Guide and learn about four of the basic elements of art: color, shape, line, and texture. Kids will engage their senses and get creative with fun activities along the way.
The Family Activity Guide can be picked up at the museum.
After thoughtful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our 2020 Summer Art Camps. The health and safety of our visitors, members, staff, and volunteers are our number one priority. At this time, we do not believe we can offer the kind of high-quality, interactive art camp experience we would like to while adhering to the current social distancing and sanitization recommendations.
